Sunday, November 16, 2008. A chilly, rainy day at Roland Group's Autumn Festival 2008. We took the stage around lunch time to a half filled hall and broke into our newest song 'Life Among the Palms'. The set continued with 'Fear', 'Endless Freeway' and '4K+1W'. By the time the set was over the hall was packed and we were quite pleased with the response from the audience. Thanks to everyone who braved the rain to attend!
In other news, production on our next CD 'C'est la Vie' is on track. Recording is in the can, mixing is under way, artwork is moving forward and we hope to have a manufacturing deal closed by the beginning of next week. We should have the product all finished by the end of January.

Another Saturday, September 6th, 2008. A sun shiny day along the Tenryu River for Roland Music Club's BBQ Live. CADF played a set of 5 songs including Sunny, Fear, Endless Freeway, C'est la Vie and 4K +1W. This was the first public performance of C'est la Vie, and with the usual exception of N.O. having trouble remembering his lyrics, the performance went well and the crowd response was receptive. This song will appear as the title track on our upcoming second CD.

Bummer dude, we didn't make the cut at Ika-Ten 2008. Thanks to everyone who voted for us. We had well over 700 votes last time I checked, but it wasn't enough to move us into the top 8. Congratulations to this year's winniners.
CADF is now working on our second CD, filled with many new original songs including 4K+1W, Fear (Manhattan 11p.m.), C'est la Vie, Emotional Modulation, Endless Freeway, and a couple of more tracks that we are still working on as we speak. Look for the CD in November, available here on our website. Stay tuned!

Thursday, July 24th, 2008. After receiving news that the band has made the first cut and is part of the "Top 30" for IKA-TEN 2008, we phone in to authorize our information release. Voting for the "Top 8" is happening now, so please go to: "https://secure.msn.co.jp/campaign/ikaten/second.htm" and vote for our song "Sunny"!

Monday, July 14th, 2008. After submitting a short video clip, C.A. Delta force receives notice that they have been given permission to formally apply for a spot on IKA-TEN 2008! Perhaps N. O. will have a chance to be reunited with his old pals Miyake Yuuji and Aihara You. Who knows? Watch this space for upcoming details as well as info on future upcoming shows in Hamamatsu and Iwata.

Sunday, January 13, 2008 Happy New Year!
Oh, the time she does fly by like an angel on the wing, a mere will-oh-the-wisp in the larger scheme of things. We have been busy. Of course, we all have day jos, so there's that, but we've also been working on a whole slew of new songs, some keepers, some less so.
And soon, actually the 22nd of March, you will be able to have a listen to some of them at our next performance at Watts, in Mikkabi. We hope to see you both there.

Another Saturday, the 18th of November 2006. C.A. Delta Force again took the center stage at Roland's Autumn Festival. It was a tough crowd but they eagerly ate up our four song set including:
4K+1W
Endless Freeway (GLU cover)
I'm the Guy (GLU cover)
Sunny
And they ate up all the sausages on sale as well! We hope to have another venue lined up soon. Watch this space for details!

On Saturday September 2nd, 2006, we played at the Roland BBQ Live event on the Tenryu River. The crowd was hungry and so were we. We played a short set consisting of:
4K+1W (C.A. Delta Force original)
Endless Freeway (GLU cover)
Sunny (C.A. Delta Force original)
After the set was over N.O. had to split off to a PTA meeting. Such is the fate of an oyaji band...

Saturday, November the 12th, 2005. A sunny day with a slight breeze coming off of Lake Hamana, which was pretty dirty actually. Colonel Anderson's Delta Force performed their second show. This time at the Roland Corporation Autumn Festival to a small, but energetic crowd. A short set, only 5 songs: Jazz followed by Planet of the Moon, Lifeunderwater, and then I'm The Guy and Sunny. All members were present, and pleasant.

Kevin Brown of Edison's Talking Machine and one of the artists behind the song Lifeunderwater, was in attendance and said commenting on Delta's version of that song, "That has turned into one sexy rythym line." He added, "I am really impressed with the band's sound. Shunt has done an excellent job of arranging some really good songs into some great ones."

The CD Pops was on sale at the event, and actually sold many hundreds of copies to unsuspecting passersby. Well, maybe twenty, but it was all in all, a great day. Thanks!

Saturday, September the 10th. 2005. The current lineup of Colonel Anderson's Delta Force performed together live for the first time. Each ticket holding guest was given a copy of the band's CD POPS, which was incidentally released on the same day.
All members of the band were quite nervous before the show and shunt remarked, "If we were a punk band we'd be smoking cigarettes and drinking hard alcohol. But as we are all pops, I'll just have me have some more barley tea." which was had in abundance.

7:45 and the band took to their places at the stage area in Hamamatsu's "Jazz In Bb" (B flat) and N. O. introduced the players to the crowd of 41 (there were only 30 tickets available, so some folks ended up sitting next to the restroom) and then introduced the first song of the evening, a cover of Galliano's Jazz, and the band began to play...
After the show, audience member Kaz said; "Wonderful work by the keyboardist and the vocalist." Ayako Odo, another member of the audience said "I really like the bass player!"
Other audience members mentioned key songs that they were into "I like the song Lifeunderwater, mentioned Jenny Cork, it's kind of dirty isn't it?" "I enjoyed I'm The Guy the best" said Daniela Johne, "I like the lyrics" she said.
